Coach Russ With Daughter Bailey

I'm Coach Russ Banak with my oldest daughter Bailey.  Bailey has been working along side of me since 2015.  Bailey heads all the Tier 1 swimming lessons for our younger swimmers just learning to swim.   Bailey prides herself on taking beginner swimmers and working with them to swim team level within a relatively short period of time.  She has accomplished this several times in the past and loves seeing the faces of little swimmers being told they're ready for the swim team.  I coach all competitive swimmers with my amazing assistant coaches.  I started competitive swimming at the age of 6.  By 8, I was consistently breaking records and swimming undefeated season after season.  I continued swimming throughout my college career. Throughout the years I have done everything from providing swim lessons to coaching privately and on swim teams. I am the founder of Tier 1.

Coach Rachel (Competition Coach)

Hi, my name is Rachel Woomer and I am a freshman at Kings College and part of their swim team.  I have been on the Amity AC and Boyertown YMCA swim teams since I was 9.  During my competitive swimming career, I've qualified for YMCA Nationals in the 200 fly, won the BCSA Counties in the 100 fly, won the state championship in the 200 fly and qualified for High School Districts in the 100 fly.  I have a passion for swimming and look forward to helping more kids improve and swim faster.

Coach Teag (Competition Coach)

Hello, I’m Teag Culver. I’m a senior at Albright College, where I study political science and am captain of the swim team. I’ve been swimming competitively for over fifteen years, the last eight of which specializing in distance.  I hold records at Albright in the mile and was the 2019 MAC Champion in the 500 freestyle. I teach lessons as well as coach Tier 1 competitive swimmers, both for kids and adults. Swimming has largely been my favorite thing for my entire life and I aspire to push those I coach through every stroke.

Coach Nolan (Swim Lessons)

Hello!  My name is Nolan Cremi.  I am the current Valedictorian of the class of 2020 at Daniel Boone Area High School.  I am the fifth oldest of a family of fourteen.  I have seven younger siblings who I help take care of.  I have taught them to swim and have been swimming myself since a very young age.  I enjoy teaching lessons at Tier 1.  I love working with the kids and getting them to love swimming as much as I do.
